Birthday Committee
Goal
It will
be our task to make sure that every lady, who has a birthday
in a given month, will be showered with a bountiful supply of
birthday blessings. Please feel free to lend a new thought or
activity to this group. You may contact me on my facebook page
by posting a private message. Thank you.
Birthday
Ideas and Activities:
Make a Birthday Plaque for the month of birthdays. (Graphic
Birthday plaques or cards can be made and uploaded by any lady)
Send a (snail
mail) birthday card to the birthday lady at least a few days
before her birthday, so she may receive it in time. For ladies
who live abroad we will need to send the card a couple weeks
early, to ensure its hopeful punctual receipt.
Send an
e-card birthday wish to our birthday lady.
Post pretty
thoughts, poems, notions and pictures on her Face Book wall
or on the VLS
wall around and on her birthday.
Any lady
may send a small gift to our birthday lady, if you desire.
Finally,
make sure to post a birthday wish on her Face Book wall and
on the VLS wall, on the
day of her birthday.
Guardian Angels
This is our "Cheer & Support" Committee. All you
would do is keep a watchful eye as to who needs a special prayer,
a health blessing, a warm shoulder, cheerful smile, a kind thought
and word given to her. Also if you wish you may send e-cards
(or if any prefer they could send snail mail cards).
This committee
is the spirit of giving in your heart.
Graphics
The esteemed ladies of the Graphics Committee
are always willing to lend their talented hand to Victorian
Ladies Society members. If you're in need of their help, please
do not hesitate to call upon them. Graphics Committee members
will all be assigned a graphics department to work in. For instance,
we have the welcoming committee graphics, birthday committee
graphics so on and so forth. If all positions are full then
you will be called on for special projects. We are always coming
up with something fun to do. Special projects might be redesigning
calling cards or care cards for the Guardian Angels, birthday
specialties, surprise anniversaries and the such. We do our
part to keep the graphics looking fresh and Victorian.
Activities
One of our most active committees. The Activities Committee
is in charge of keeping activities going each month within the
group. This may include posting on the board, swaps and coming
up with new and fresh ideas to get everyone involved in the group.
